‘Rock Against Racism’ concert programme, c1978

Rock Against Racism was established in 1976 in response to racist pronouncements made by a number of rock musicians. The campaign used music to spread a powerful anti-racist message. Closely allied to the Anti-Nazi League, Rock Against Racism was quickly supported by many of the punk rock bands of the time, and gained huge popular support.
