List of Negroes and Stock, Thomas Mill’s plantation, 1750 & 1752

Every two years, an inventory of the plantation was drawn up. The fact that the enslaved labourers, children and livestock were all categories together is revealing. The lists often record who is sick or disabled, or who has died since the inventory was drawn up. Sometimes the ages are included.
